TLAB at last

You see i'm kinda picky when it comes to movies; specially to movie adaptations (i mean...i never saw Dragonball and i can't still believe someone ever did; same with Evangelion if those guys have the guts to actually make it)

As far as we now american movies based on asian stuff mightly suck ass but since Avatar:the last airbender is actually an american franchise i went unusually excited about it. Mr.Shyalaman has produced some flops but most of his movies are good, so why not give him a chance? (even tought him having a children-targeted franchise is kinda weird)

Originally i was planning to go watch it last friday but my school schedule went a little bit nightly. I shall say it didn't completely disappointed me: sometimes (specially at the beginning) i started to wonder if they could give me back my money but then the plot began to move a little bit slower and deeper, the music became good, the camera angles became interesting. Sometimes the plot itself seemed saturated, but how on earth could you resume 30+ chapters of animation in just an average lenght movie? he did it pretty well except for some minor parts (and the fact that Sokka and Katara shouldn't be white).

In Darcy's words i found it "very tolerable" In fact, i really look forward to the second book. Hope they give Shyamalan a little bit more lenght, the franchise deserves it :)
