Those good vegan weirdos...

Sometimes you get to stumble into a vegan website every now and then. In my case, it is quite frecuent since i'm always searching for new recipes. They're kinda cool, but the same as christians, i can't understand those guys.

I mean, using animals for product development , fur coats or torturing them for fun is seriously bad. But how can eating meat be so alarming? sure we kill cows and chicken and rabbits and stuff, but some animals also kill animals, and it's okay for them. They don't ponder about "if what they are doing is right" a lot. That's the problem with being omnivore and intelligent i guess.

Now don't get me wrong. I love animals, and i've had pets all my life. I hate people who torture them or kill them for fun but in my own opinion all living creatures have a defined purpose. Unlike what vegans and animal lovers seem to think, wild life doesn't always mean tiny blue birds singing, friendly deers or adorable rabbits.

Some people say animals are better or equal than humans, but i believe there is a slight difference between. I'd like to think we need to protect them, take care of them, respect them and most important: recognize that we need them. That day by day those who are "useful" for humanity make the greatest sacrifice of all, giving each slice of ham, each chicken broth , each cup of milk the value and importance it deserves; plus using every single part of it without waste.

That leads to another theme, which would be: sustantaible production. I don't like vegans trying to make me feel guilty for something as natural as eating meat and diary products but i do think reducing the percentage of meat production is a great idea in terms of ecology and ethics. Personally, i hate when people get intense about it. Like those guys who only eat raw stuff *cough* or those who go on telling people to join their religion *double cough* why can't anybody be balanced?

...yeah. I should start my own movement. I'd call it that way.
